LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Power outages have affected over 4,900 customers in Ashburn, especially near Broadlands and Moorefield Station. Most outages in Broadlands have been restored, but more than 2,000 remain around Moorefield Station, expected to be resolved by Monday evening. Report outages to Dominion Energy at 866-366-4357.
The National Weather Service issued an extreme heat warning from Monday, June 23 to Wednesday, June 26 with heat indexes expected to reach 110 degrees. Loudoun County officials are urging residents to stay cool during the several days of extreme heat.
Cooling centers are open throughout Loudoun County and can be found on the County’s website.
